Habanero Salsa

If you're looking to spice things up, this fiery habanero salsa delivers intense flavor with just a few simple ingredients. Roasting the vegetables brings out their natural sweetness and depth, while the habanero adds a powerful punch that heat lovers will crave. Ingredients

  • 1 Tomato cut in quarters
  • ½ white onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 habanero chili
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil 
  • Salt 
  • Black pepper

 

Method

  • In a saucepan, heat the olive oil and add the tomatoes, onion, garlic and habanero and cook for 5 minutes or once it looks well charred. 
  • Blend all the ingredients add add salt and pepper to taste.

Watch out, it has a kick!
