I have a nut allergy, are you able to accommodate this?
We understand that nut allergies can be serious, and we want to be transparent about what’s possible in our kitchen.
We want all our guests to feel safe and cared for during their stay. However, due to the nature of our menus and kitchen operations, we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment.
Our retreats regularly use walnuts and pecans in select dishes—most often in salads and desserts. When these ingredients are included, our culinary team will clearly highlight them and can offer an alternative option where possible.
That said, please note the following important information:
-
Cross-contamination: We prepare and serve a variety of nuts and nut butters in our kitchen. Despite our best efforts, cross-contamination is possible, and we cannot ensure that any dish is completely free from traces of nuts.
-
Severe allergies: If you have a severe nut allergy or risk of anaphylaxis, we strongly advise not attending the retreat, as your safety cannot be fully guaranteed.
-
Mild allergies: If your reaction is mild and you carry an epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen), please inform our team in advance. We will make every effort to exclude nuts from your meals, but again, we cannot eliminate all risk.
Because nuts are integral to many of our dishes and ingredients, it is unfortunately not possible to offer a fully nut-free menu.
If you have questions about specific dishes or wish to discuss your dietary needs before booking, please contact our team—we’re happy to guide you.
